Excel are not the biggest agency in the world, and indeed we don’t intend to ever be the biggest. We feel a smaller team leads to more of a personal touch – not only will your main contact be fully up to speed with your requirements and preferences, but the rest of the support team will be able to assist where necessary if the principle is not available.
• Quality, not Quantity
As a company we are not interested in bombarding you with CV’s of engineers unqualified, under experienced or generally not right for a position on the off-chance they will be accepted. It wastes your time – the opposite from what we are here to do.
If we don’t have a suitable candidate available, rather than a speculative CV you will receive a call updating you on the situation.
We contact EVERY candidate before submission to check the details of your position are of interest to them.
We reference EVERY candidate before submitting, more often than not with a contact we know well within the industry rather than those on the bottom of the CV
We check the qualifications of EVERY candidate before submission – you wont receive mechanics with no HF training or licensed engineers who are out of currency from us.
• Honesty and Integrity
The whole mentality of Excel is built on honesty and integrity. If we find an available candidate but do not think he would be up to the standard you would expect, we will not submit him. If we have a reference that is less than shining on a candidate, we will let you know and leave the decision in your hands. If we are struggling to fill a position, we will call you regularly to update you. No agency can fill every position, but the least we can do is to be honest about it when we are not getting the results we would hope for.
• Speedy response
Aviation is a fast paced environment where time is money. That goes for us as well as you, so you won’t find us taking days to contact you about a new order or position. Excel staff are contactable at all times, and have access to email and internet 24/7.
• After sales care
We will always call within 48 hours of a contractors start to ensure he is up to the standard expected, but we also make an effort to meet as many of the people that work with us as possible through site visits.
We offer various additional services to contractors, such as locating travel and accommodation and providing overalls, and will always make the replacement of a contractor our highest priority. We can provide HF training for your employees if required, assist with Quality and Airworthiness issues through our Quality Consultant, and offer long term support for major projects and ongoing development. We also have various options regarding temporary to permanent recruitment that work to save you money.
• Flexibility
The founders and owners of Excel can still be found working hard in the office every day, and as such we can make instant decisions regarding all aspects of the business, including rates and costings, changes to terms and various supplier agreements. Wherever possible an answer to a question will be given immediately – if not, as soon as possible after the conversation has ended
