Our consultants have been working within aviation recruitment for many years, with previous experience of recruitment in other sectors.
Perhaps more importantly, they have a genuine interest in all forms of aviation, and for them there is a satisfaction to be gained from a happy contractor.

• Accommodation and travel location and assistance
Wherever possible, Excel will locate and book accommodation and/or travel for a contractor, even if it is not paid as part of the contract – we know the stress that finding accommodation in a new city or town can cause.
On certain UK contracts, we will actually take a portion of our markup and pay it as an accommodation allowance – a comfortable contractor is usually a happy one!

• Paying earlier in the week
Since our inception, we have ensured that all payments to contractors are received on the Thursday following timesheet submission. This means that if there are any problems anywhere down the line, we have a full day to rectify them.

• Variety of jobs and locations
Excel pride ourselves on the wide variety of positions we can offer, mainly through our excellent network of contacts, combined with a strong understanding of clients requirements. We work literally worldwide, and until recently were the only recruitment company with engineers working on all of the worlds continents. This variety will usually mean we have at least one position of interest for you.

• Honesty and understanding
We realize that relationships are built on honesty, and will never fabricate or enhance a contract’s details in order to get men working. A reputation is something that takes a lifetime to build, but can be destroyed in seconds – not something that we want to be doing!
We are contactable at all times, and will try to work with a contractor wherever possible to ensure that everything is as expected. We will always support a contractor working for us in whatever way we can.
 
• Regular site visits
Wherever possible we visit engineers on site – we like to meet the people working through Excel in person, for a more personal relationship. Obviously this will not be a weekly occurrence, but we will try and meet every contractor at least once during a contract period.
